Noah Schwartz Finds a Huge Double Up

Level 5 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

After a raise to 25,000 from middle position, Ioannis Angelou-Konstas three-bet to 75,000 just one seat over. Noah Schwartz was in the big blind and stuck in a three-bet to 218,000. The initial raiser got out of the way but Angelou-Konstas wanted to see a flop.

The dealer fanned the flop of {10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Schwartz led out for 183,000. Angelou-Konstas still called and the {q-Hearts} landed on the turn. Both players took a minute to think before knuckling the table and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board.

Schwartz announced that he was all in for 825,000 and Angelou-Konstas asked for a count. About 30 seconds later, he called and the cards were tabled. Schwartz turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} while Angelou-Konstas showed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. It was surprising to not see all of the chips get in the middle a little sooner but they eventually did and Schwartz earned himself a double up.
