Wolech Wins Almost All
Level 28
: 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Just before the break, Peter Zipperer raised to 120,000 from mid-position to see that Rene Wolech, in late position, decided to three-bet to 360,000. Action folded back to Zipperer who shoved all in. Wolech snap-called and they both flipped their cards over. Their stacks were pretty even.

The flop came - one of the kings that Zipperer was trying to avoid decided to show up. The on the turn didn't change much as Zipperer needed an ace to beat Wolech. The on the river that completed the board made sure that Wolech won the hand.
The dealer counted out Wolech's stack first as it seemed to be less than Zipperer's. In the end, Wolech had 1,345,000 and he doubled up as Zipperer had 25,000 more.
