10 Minute Levels Going Forward

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 10,000 ante

The remaining three players agreed to 10-minute levels in order to get proper sleep and Benjamin Benoit lost the first two pots after play resumed.

Van Tiep Nguyen raised the small blind to 100,000 and Benoit called in the big blind. On the {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, Nguyen checked and called a bet of 115,000 by Benoit before the {6-Diamonds} turn and {A-Spades} river were checked. Nguyen showed {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and that won the pot.

Right after, Anatoly Filatov's bet of 75.000 on the {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop secured the pot against Benoit before the Russian also claimed another pot, this time off Nguyen, when betting the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop for 125,000.

Next Deal Discussions; Same Result

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 10,000 ante

Once again deal discussions broke out and the three players looked into their exact stack sizes and ICM numbers. The result was the same as the previous one, the deal was eventually rejected.

On a flop of {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, Anatoly Filatov and Benjamin Benoit checked before the {4-Hearts} on the turn saw a bet of 55,000 by Filatov and a call by Benoit. The {8-Spades} river saw Benoit check and Filatov bet 300,000, eventually forcing a river.

Brief Deal Discussions

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 10,000 ante

Sparked by the table chat of chip leader Benjamin Benoit, brief deal discussions broke out. With €100,000, €65,000 and €43,250 to be played for, Benoit wanted to have €80,000 guaranteed and Anatoly Filatov as well as Van Tiep Nguyen to split up the remaining prizes.

Nguyen denied because of the chip difference between him and Filatov, and proceeded to win the next pot against the Russian betting the {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} turn for 175,000 into a pot of 150,000 to force a fold.
