Day 4 Begins at Noon Local Time; Konstas Leads
A total of 812 entries took to the felt in the $1,100 MILLIONS Open at the Caribbean Poker Party Festival, but just 26 players will return for Day 4 play Tuesday at noon local time at The Level at Melia Caribe Tropical. While all remaining players are guaranteed to cash for at least $6,000, all are chasing the $200,000 top prize. Ioannis Angelou-Konstas leads the remainder of the field and will take 71,800,000 out of the bag when play resumes. Hot on his heels are Paul Michaelis with 68,100,000 and Rainer Kempe with 66,500,000. The highly accomplished Brit Barny Boatman is also still in contention with 19,000,000.
Blinds will be 400,000/800,000 with an 800,000-chip button ante when play resumes. Levels will be one hour long until heads-up play is reached and 30 minutes long thereafter. There will be a 20-minute break every two levels and play will continue until a champion is crowned.
