Joris Ruijs

Joris Ruijs has recently reentered after a spot where he went "for too thin value". His second attempt started off much better, as the Dutch high staker instantly found a double-up.

It was a bit of a cheeky induce by Ruijs, who originally had defended the big blind with {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} against a button raise. The flop was {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and both players checked. On the {10-Hearts} turn, Ruijs bet 2,500, Mairo Tori raised to 6,500, Ruijs clicked it back to 14,500 and Tori four-bet shipped it in.

Ruijs called it off for 20,000 more and saw that Tori couldn't muster up more that {7-Clubs}{4-Spades} for a double gutter. The river was the {k-Spades} and Ruijs doubled up.
