Top Pair Good for Ruijs

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Robert Mizrachi opened for 400 from the cutoff before he called a three-bet of 1,800 from Joris Ruijs in the small blind.

Ruijs led out for 1,400 after the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} came on the flop. Mizrachi raised to 3,100 and Ruijs called.

Both players checked after the {a-Hearts} came on the turn. Ruijs then bet 8,000 after the {4-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. Mizrachi paused for about 15 seconds before he made the call.

Ruijs turned over {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for top pair and won the pot after Mizrachi tossed his hand in the muck.
