The third of five Day 1 flights is underway in the Riverdome at Horseshoe Bossier City. The event offers a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool with a $420 buy-in. The surviving players from Day 1 flights will return on Sunday at noon to play down to a champion. For the full schedule of flights and satellites, click here.
Players buying into the event will begin their tournament with 20,000 chips and must survive twelve 30-minute levels to make it through to Day 2. Late registration and unlimited re-entry are available until the start of Level 9 (approximately 10:30 p.m. local time). Barry Seidel has been a firefighter in Shreveport for 27 years. He is in the field today taking his shot in the Day 1C flight.
He moved to Shreveport when he was 15 years old and has lived here since. He has been married to his wife Karen for 12 years and has one child.
