Negreanu's Turn to Double Back

Tony G called Daniel Negreanu's all in with {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. Negreanu held two suited overcards with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. The flop was an interesting one when it came {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Negreanu picked up a world of outs.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and then the river was the {A-Diamonds} and Negreanu made his flush. He was all in for 120,000 and doubled up to be back in contention.

Tony G Owns Hellmuth

The G got the best of that one
The G got the best of that one
Daniel Negreanu limped the cutoff seat with the {A-Spades}{3-Hearts} and then Phil Hellmuth completed from the small blind with the {J-Spades}{10-Spades}. Tony G checked his option in the big blind with the {4-Spades}{3-Spades}.

The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Hellmuth checked. Tony G bet 6,000 and Negreanu folded. Hellmuth took a minute and then min-raised to 6,000. Instantly, Tony G reraised to 46,000 and Hellmuth snap-called. Both players then snap-checked in the dark. It literally went, raise, reraise, call, check, check within a few seconds and Negreanu thought this was hilarious and announced what just happened to everyone in the room.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and then the river was dealt with both players having checked dark. It came the {10-Diamonds} and Hellmuth fired 6,000, the minimum. Tony G almost immediately raised to 60,000. Hellmuth took a minute and folded and then Tony G showed him only the {3-Spades}, claiming that he just owned Hellmuth.

Tony G Playing Position Against Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu raised to 12,000 with the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Tony G called in position with the {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Negreanu checked, not opting to fire a continuation bet. Tony G fired a bet of 20,000 and Negreanu called.

The turn was the {J-Clubs} and Negreanu checked again. Tony G went for two streets of barreling with a bet of 40,000. Negreanu mucked his hand, electing not to continue with it and Tony G won the pot.
