Negreanu feeling good after the win
Negreanu feeling good after the win
Daniel Negreanu moved all in with {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and JC Tran made the call with {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. The fop gave Negreanu even more outs when it came {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

The {q-Clubs} hit on the turn, and Negreanu would need any king, ten or jack to move on to the finals.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Negreanu eliminated the defending Premier League champion from this years event. When the ten hit on the river, Hellmuth screamed, "He wins every race Daniel, it's so sick!"

After Daniel Negreanu raised it up preflop with {a-Clubs}{K-Spades}, JC Tran made the call with {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Phil Hellmuth in the booth commented that Tran was in really bad shape. That is until the flop came {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, and Tran flopped a full house. This prompted Hellmuth to shout "there will be a new chip leader after this hand."

Negreanu bet 6,000 and Tran raised it to 14,000, and Negreanu elected to just call. The {k-Hearts} saved the day for Negreanu, creating a split pot unless Negreanu could hit an ace on the river. Hellmuth then exclaimed "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!"

Both players were cheeky about the turn and did not get all the chips in until the {4-Spades} hit on the river. Negreanu laughed when he saw his good fortune and JC Tran just shook his head in disbelief as the dealer chopped the pot.

Daniel currently has about 160,000 of the 200,000 chips in play.
