Omara Out Fifth Against Schuman's Quad Kings

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

John Omara was left with 10,000 after losing a monster pot. Shortly after, action folded around to Omara on the button and he put his last chips in the middle. Dale Schuman called by default from the big blind.

John Omara: {8-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Dale Schuman: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

"Oh wow. I hadn't looked," announced Schuman as the flop of {q-Spades}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades} came out to give him quads.

The entire crowd exclaimed "No!!!" as the fan-favorite only had runner-runner Royal Flush outs. The {4-Diamonds} turn left him drawing dead and the {4-Spades} river sent him out the door in fifth place.

Zuniga Out in Sixth Place

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Dale Schuman raised to 100,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Shawn Zuniga who called from the cutoff. Cory Retzlaff called from the button and both blind got out of the way.

The flop of {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades} didn't appear to impress Schuman as he checked his action. Zuniga announced, "I'm all in," with Retzlaff snap-shoving his stack of 880,000. Schuman folded and the two remaining players in the hand turned their cards over.

Cory Retzlaff: {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Shawn Zuniga: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The {5-Hearts} on the turn gave Zuniga three more outs but none of them came when the {6-Hearts} came on the river.

Shawn Zuniga, who busted Shanie Darling on the bubble earlier in the tournament, exited in sixth place.

The Last Two Ladies Have Been Eliminated

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Marilyn Ragan in earlier action.
Marilyn Ragan in earlier action.

Nancy Beasley went all in for 55,000 under the gun and was quickly called by Marilyn Ragan who elected to go all in as well for 130,000. Action folded around to Cory Retzlaff in late position who went all in for 595,000. The small blind and big blind folded and the hands were turned up.

Nancy Beasley: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Marilyn Ragan: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Cory Retzlaff: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop gave little hope to the last two remaining women in the event.

The {4-Hearts} turn meant there were chop options available but the {8-Spades} river card sent the ladies out the door.

Nancy Beasley finished eighth place and Marilyn Ragan official finished in seventh.

Johnson Out in Ninth

Level 17 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Dustin Johnson
Dustin Johnson

Dustin Johnson was all in for his short stack preflop and called by two players. The other two players checked it down as the board ran out {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Dale Schuman rolled over the {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for two pair, Nancy Beasley mucked her cards, and Johnson turned over the {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a missed flush draw.

With that, Johnson exited the tournament in ninth place.

Flopped Straight Sends Two Players Packing

Level 16 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Dustin Johnson
Dustin Johnson

Dustin Johnson was grinning ear to ear when two players called his all in. The flop has already fanned out {10-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades} and the cards were turned on their backs.

Dustin Johnson: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Opponent #1: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Opponent #2: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Johnson was miles ahead with the flopped but straight but the {q-Diamonds} offered hope to his opponents.

"You've got a flush draw! You can both get a boat!" was shouted from the rail but the river {8-Hearts} allowed Johnson to claim the pot and score a double elimination.
