Matakis Four-Bet Shoves Once, But Not Twice

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Hand #1:

Ian Matakis opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet by Jeff Petronack to 30,000 from the button. Action made its way back to Matakis and he thought for a few moments before four-betting all in for 104,500. Petronack went into the tank for about a half-minute and then let his cards go, resulting in Matakis earning the pot.

Hand #2:

On the following hand, Matakis opened to 12,000 from the hijack and Petronack three-bet him again to 30,000 out of the cutoff. Action folded back to Matakis and he asked for confirmation of the bet size. The dealer nodded and he sent his cards to the muck, ceding the pot to Petronack after taking one from him on the previous hand.
