Schemion Doubles

Level 1

Action folded to Erwann Pecheux in the small blind and he glanced over to his neighbor Ole Schemion. Schemion said "Just 10 big blinds" and Pecheux shoved.

"You asked for that" Dan Smith laughed.

Schemion called just as quick.

Ole Schemion: {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Erwann Pecheux: {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{8-Spades} and Schemion doubled up.

Another Two Bite the Dust

Level 1
Table 4 at the start of the day
Table 4 at the start of the day

Over on table four two players got eliminated in the same hand. Both Simon Deadman and Oleksii Khoroshenin got knocked out by Team Italy's Andrea Dato.

The three of them got it in before the flop. We're sure Dato had {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}, the two other hands were {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, but we're unsure which hand belonged to which player.

The board ran out {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and both Team United Kingdom and Team Ukraine lost a player.

It's six-handed over on table 4.

Canada, Germany, Italy and France Stay Strong

Level 1

After a little over 90 minutes of play, and an hour before the hard stop of the first heat, there are four countries that are still complete. Team Canada, Germany, Italy and France have all eight players still competing, while the other countries have lost at least one player each.

In total nine players have been knocked out so far.

Team Ukraine Minus One

Level 1

Ukraine's Igor Yaroshevsky has been knocked out by Philipp Gruissem. The two of them got their chips in before the flop, with Yaroshevsky being severly short stacked already.

Igor Yaroshevsky: {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Philipp Gruissem: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Team Ukraine lost its player on Table 5.

It's five handed now on that table, so they're right on the bubble. Gruissem leads for Team Germany over there, while Team France's Bertrand Grospellier is the short stack.
