Selbst Bluffs

Level 3
Vanessa Selbst
Vanessa Selbst

Alexander Dovzhenko opened for 500 from the hijack and Vanessa Selbst three bet to 1,200 from the cutoff. Anatoly Filatov cold called from the big blind, Dovzhenko folded.

Filatov checked on {7-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and Selbst checked back.

The {4-Clubs} fell on the turn and Filatov bet out 1,400 from the big blind. Selbst made the call in position.

The river came the {Q-Hearts} and Filatov bet 2,450.

Selbst tanked for a bit, and with just 7 seconds left, she grabbed a pile of 1,000 chips and placed them in the middle.

We're unsure how much it exactly was, but we're sure Filatov folded saying something along the lines of "You only have one bluff here ever".

Selbst showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} with a big grin on her face.

No comeback for Tedeschi

Level 3

Paul Tedeschi never managed to mount a comeback. He was down to 150 chips when he move all in from first position.

Ami Barer raised to 300 from the button to try and isolate but Jack Salter called from the big blind. The flop fanned {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Barer bet 300 get Salter to fold.

Tedeschi actually had a good hand with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} but failed to stay ahead of Barer's {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} as the board ran out {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

Down But Not Out (Yet)

Level 3
Paul Tedeschi
Paul Tedeschi

Paul Tedeschi opened for 300 from the hijack and Alexander Dovzhenko on the button three bet to 800. Both blinds folded, Tedeschi made the call.

Both players checked the {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} flop and the {10-Hearts} hit the board on the turn.

Tedeschi checked and Dovzhenko made a bet of 1,125. Tedeschi check raised to 3,750 and Dovzhenko shoved all in. Tedeschi made the call.

Paul Tedeschi: {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Alexander Dovzhenko: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The river {8-Hearts} made no difference and Tedeschi was down to about 450.
