Baggett Takes from Webster, Stacks Level Out

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Kenny Baggett
Kenny Baggett

James Traber folded the button and Kenny Baggett limped in the small blind. Simon Webster in the big blind raised to 220,000 total and Baggett called.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Baggett checked. Webster continued for 130,000 and Baggett quickly called.

The flop came the {8-Hearts}, and again Baggett checked. Webster checked behind and the board was completed with the {5-Spades}.

Baggett thought for a moment and then announced a bet of 340,000. Webster snap-called and Baggett turned over {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for top pair. Webster mucked and shipped a quarter of his remaining stack over to Baggett.

With this pot, Baggett takes the chip lead for the first time on Day 2, and the stacks between the three players are fairly close in size.
