Day 1c Gets Underway at the Pennsylvania State Poker Championship in Event #3 $2200 Main Event
The Pennsylvania State Poker Championship continues at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia as Day 1c gets underway today 11:15 a.m. local time in the $2,200 Event #3 Main Event. The PokerStars sponsored event has a $500,000 guarantee. The tournament will have four Day one flights occurring over the next few days with Day 2 beginning on Sunday, September 8th. Players who make it through the Day 1 flights will all return together for Day 2 and play down until a winner emerges from the pack.

Players will each be starting with 50,000 in chips and blinds will begin at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Blinds increase every 40-minutes on Day 1 and every 60-minutes on Day 2. Play for Day 1 flights will conclude once only 12.5% of the field remains.
Late registration is accepted until the end of Level 12, with 15-minute breaks taking place every three levels, and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 9. Unlimited reentries are allowed, and players may play additional Day 1 flights in an attempt to increase their chip counts. Should a player choose to play multiple Day 1 flights, only the highest qualifying stack will be permitted to continue to Day 2.
Player are allow to enter and bag multiple flights. Any player who bags multiple flights, will have their smaller stack taken out of play, and will receive a min cash for the smaller stack.

Another reward to the winner is a Gold Pass to the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event in November. PokerStars will award the winner of this event the Gold Pass package, which includes travel, accommodation, and the $5,300 tournament buy-in.
