The 20 remaining players found themselves in the money after Kevin Berman flopped two pair to crack Zachary Donovan's pocket aces, leaving Donovan with just 2,000 chips. In the very next hand, Donovan was eliminated, bursting the money bubble and ending the night.

Players who did not make Day 2 will have one last opportunity during the final Day 1 flight, taking place on Sunday, November 3, at noon local time. Participants will start with a 30,000 chip stack, and the action will consist of 30-minute levels. The day will conclude once 15 percent of the field remains, with late registration open until the end of Level 10.
