Welcome to Day 1a of the 2024 PokerStars NAPT Las Vegas $5,300 Main Event
The $5,300 Main Event of the 2024 PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas kicks off today at 12 p.m. local time at Resorts World. After four days of preliminary events, many of poker's biggest names will convene for massive event with a guaranteed prize pool of $3,000,000.
This is the second year of the NAPT's return to Las Vegas. Last year, Sami Bechahed conquered a field of 1,095 players in the $1,650 Main Event to win $268,945. This year, the stakes have increased as the buy-in is $5,300.

Today is the first of three starting flights. There is another flight at 12 p.m. tomorrow, as well as a turbo flight 1c at 6 p.m. tomorrow.
Players begin the tournament with 30,000 in tournament chips with blinds at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Levels will last 60 minutes in length and ten levels will be played on Day 1. The tournament is single re-entry per flight, with registration open through to the start of Day 2 on Thursday, November 7 at 12 p.m.
