Eric Froehlich opened the pot to 24,000 from the hijack seat, and Vincent Rubianes three-bet to 54,000 next door. In the small blind, Ruben Costa wanted to play for it all, and he shoved in for his last ~450,000. Froehlich quickly ducked out, but Rubianes made the call with his huge stack, and the cards were on their backs.

Costa was in bad shape and drawing slim for his tournament life. The dealer wouldn't bail him out, either, running a 
board to seal his fate. Costa was escorted to the payout desk to collect a small check, but there's nothing small about Rubianes' stack. He's got about 1.44 million now and a huge lead over the field.
