E-Fro Flips For it All

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Eric Froehlich
Eric Froehlich

Eric Froehlich got his last ~200,000 chips into the middle before the flop with {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}, and he seemed content to flip for double or nothing when Eracles Panayiotou came along with his {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs} and the covering stack.

The {5-Spades} {9-Spades} {2-Spades} flop was money in the bank for Froehlich as Panayiotu needed runner-runner to catch up. The turn {A-Spades} was part of that equation as he now had nine spade outs to the chop as well.

The river was a blank {10-Clubs}, though, the wrong shade of black for Panayiotu. He'll be forced to donate a double up, dropping his stack down to just 105,000. Froehlich has 425,000 now and is back in the game with average chips.
