The bettor promptly three-bet all in, but Pilgrim didn't hear the announcement. He sat still for a few long minutes before everyone realized that Pilgrim was unaware the action was on him. When they nudged him, he apologized profusely, said, "I guess you got me then," and called all in for his last 40,400 total.
The unknown opponent showed up for top pair, but Pilgrim's had nearly locked up the pot and the double up with a flush. The river was a blank, and Pilgrim is right back to 95,000.
