Mercier Not So O-Kay
Bryn Kenney raised to 3,000 from the cutoff seat before it was Jason Mercier's turn to act. Mercier represents Team PokerStars Pro USA. He three-bet Kenney to 7,600 from the button. Josh Kay was in the small blind and took some time before four-betting to 16,600. Eric "Sheets" Haber thought about it in the big blind for a brief moment and then folded. Kenney followed right behind him into the muck, but Mercier didn't go away so easily. He made the call to bring him and Kay to the flop.
The first three community cards came down . Kay was first to act and fired 16,600, the same amount he four-bet to preflop. Mercier took his time and made the call.
The turn card added the to the board, completing a possible flush draw. Kay moved all in, somewhat fumbling his chips together as he pushed them over the line. He was all in for approximately 53,000 and Mercier tanked. He thought for about a minute and a half before flicking his cards into the muck. Kay was awarded the pot while Mercier was left with 112,000 in chips.
