Hilarity Ensues

Oops.
Oops.
There's a lot of pressure now that we're down to 18 players left. Each of the remaining players is very close to a huge payday. Sometimes it seems the pressure gets the better of them.

James Casement opened to 45,000 from middle position. Action passed to Vanessa Selbst, whose re-raise to 150,000 cleared every one else out of the hand. Casement then said, "I call," and turned up {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}. The problem was that he had about 450,000 total and Selbst had only raised to 150,000!

"It's just 150," the dealer told Casement.

Casement flushed slightly and closed his hand. "I'm all in then."

"You can't go all in," the dealer reminded him. "You said you call."

Casement put in the chips for a call. To the amusement of the rail, the flop came king-high, {K-Spades} {j-Clubs} {2-Clubs}, and Casement checked!

"Are you really checking?" Selbst asked, stupefied. "Alright I check."

The turn came a brick, {4-Hearts}. Casement moved all in and Selbst snap-folded.

"You think I'm going to hit my eight and catch up?" she asked Casement. "Oh, I hit a set. I can't fold it!" The table erupted in laughter.

"Write that one up, boys," Mike Beasley instructed the assembled media. "That's a good one."
