Hussein Gets Double Tank-Fold On Ace-High Flop

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

A hand escalated quickly preflop between Blair Matheson, under the gun, his neighbour Haji Hussein and big blind Mark Grant. Matheson opened to 800, Hussein called and it folded to Grant who upped the bet to a chunky 3,700. Both of his opponents made the call.

The flop: {q-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Grant and Matheson checked, and Hussein moved all in for 11,800, around the size of the pot. Grant took a turn in the tank, counting out calling chips, considering the board and finally deciding to fold. Matheson took his time, too, chip riffling while Hussein could just watch and wait on the last decision in the hand. When Matheson passed, Hussein flashed the {a-Spades}.

"I had kings," said Grant.
