One Platinum Pass does not divide equally among eight players. Therefore, the remaining eight players will play down to one on Day 3 of Moneymaker's Road to PSPC 2020.
Leading the way is Andrew Barham who navigated the increasing blinds yesterday to bag 3,615,000 to top the remaining players.
Behind him comes Justin Bateson (2,100,000) and Jay Yerby (2,060,000), the latter of which eliminated the final player yesterday to move above two million in chips for the first time.
Here's how the final eight players stack up at the final table:
Seat | Name | Chip Count | Big Blinds |
1 | Stephen Baker | 1,170,000 | 20 |
2 | Simon Green | 1,170,000 | 20 |
3 | Andrew Barham | 3,615,000 | 60 |
4 | Ken Wong | 1,200,000 | 20 |
5 | Alan Lambert | 1,700,000 | 28 |
6 | Justin Bateson | 2,100,000 | 35 |
7 | Jay Yerby | 2,060,000 | 34 |
8 | Zayn Mushtaq | 990,000 | 17 |
With their eyes on the prize of the Platinum Pass, short stacks Zayn Mushtaq, Day 2 chip leader Stephen Baker and Simon Green will all have to keep an eye on one another's 20 big blind stacks when play resumes.
They are all guaranteed £1,204 but will be eyeing the top prize of £10,454 and of course the Platinum Pass. The 2020 edition of the PSPC will be held in Barcelona from August 20-24 at Casino Barcelona. The buy-in is €22,500 (approx. $25,000) and there will be millions in prize money.
