The trophy awaits one of the 19 remaining players when the final day of the Merit Poker Carmen Series $3,300 Main Event begins at 1 p.m. local time.

Behind him are Fausto Tantillo (8,950,000), Simeon Spasov (7,540,000), Eduard Barsegian (6,280,000), and Walter Treccarichi (5,740,000). The final 19 players are all that’s left of a massive field of 765 entries that crowded the poker room of the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino in North Cyprus. They’ve already guaranteed themselves $17,070, but all eyes will be on the $376,800 top prize and coveted Merit Poker title.
Play picks up on Level 29, with blinds of 60,000-120,000 and a 120,000 big blind ante. The feature table will be streamed on a delay on Merit Poker’s YouTube and Facebook channels.
There will be a new champion by the end of the day, and PokerNews will be following all the action and providing live updates until there is just one man left standing.
