Action rolls on at the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino, where the largest buy-in event of the Merit Poker Dolce Vita Series is set to begin tonight. Day 1 of the $3,300 OPE Classic Cup 8-Handed gets underway at 8 p.m. local time, giving high rollers a chance to battle on the felt here in Northern Cyprus.

Event #7 of the series will give players plenty of opportunity to build up a stack for Day 2, as the OPE Classic event features unlimited reentries. Late registration will continue into Day 2, where players can enter until the end of Level 12.

Players begin with 100,000 chips, with blinds of 200/400 and a 400 big blind ante kicking off the action. Day 1 will see eight levels contested, each lasting 40 minutes in duration with a pair of 15-minute breaks after Level 3 and Level 5.
