The money bubble awaits when 176 players return for Day 3 of the Merit Poker Dolce Vita Series $1,100 IPO Master at noon local time.

Those who remain have already survived a packed field of 937 who began the tournament, but for 51 unfortunate players, their efforts will have been for naught as only 125 will make the money and claim a piece of the $862,040 prize pool.

Jak Ferman is the player best positioned to do just that as he takes the chip lead into Day 3 with 1,908,000. Day 1 chip leaders Hassan Nashar (1,585,000) and Seyedali Hosseinirami (1,410,000) also remain top stacks, as does Andrea Monteriso (1,274,000). Other players near the top of the leaderboard include Merit Poker Carmen Series champion Elie Farah (1,183,000), Fabio Peluso (834,000), Recep Aydemir (832,000), Mihai Niste (792,000), Kalidou Sow (708,000), Simone Andrian (642,000), and Nikolay Fal (579,000).
