Margolin Doesn't Make It to Dinner

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Timur Margolin
Timur Margolin

Just as the field was heading off on dinner break, Timur Margolin was facing a raise of 105,000 from Michele Guerrini in the small blind. Margolin shoved all in from the big blind for around 400,000 and Guerrini snap-called.

Timur Margolin: {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Michele Guerrini: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Margolin took the lead on the {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Spades} flop with a pair of jacks. The {k-Diamonds} turn was safe, but the {k-Spades} on the river improved Guerrini to a flush and sent Margolin out just before the break.

Ozbek Falls After Dinner

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On the first hand back from dinner break, Gokhan Ozbek got the rest of his 450,000 stack in the middle on a flop of {2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and was up against Yury Bochkarev.

Ozbek turned over {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, but Bochkarev had top pair with {q-Spades}{10-Spades}. The board ran out {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Ozbek wished the rest of the table luck before heading for the exit.

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of {6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, Ido Aboudi jammed his last 135,000 from the big blind. Michael Allen in middle position asked for a count before he threw in the chips to call.

Aboudi had {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a straight draw, while Allen had {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for king-high. The turn came the {9-Hearts}, followed by the {k-Diamonds} on the river as Allen made a pair of kings to bust Aboudi.

Jesse Wigan was also eliminated on the main feature table.

Kuliberda Outdraws Macori

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Dawid Kuliberda raised to 80,000 from the cutoff before Federico Macori moved all in from the big blind for 350,000. Kuliberda quickly called.

Federico Macori: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Dawid Kuliberda: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Kuliberda was dominated by leapt into the lead on the {2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop with a pair of tens. Macori had a straight draw but didn't improve on the {q-Spades} turn or {q-Hearts} river as Kuliberda finished with a full house to send him to the payout desk.

"Unlucky," Michael Allen consoled Macori as he made his exit.

Mandara Picks Up Aces in Four-Bet Pot

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ryan Mandara

Nariman Yaghmai opened the pot for 80,000 before Arie Kliper three-bet to 240,000 in the hijack. Ryan Mandara, on the button, then moved all in for around 1,100,000 and Yaghmai snap-called.

Kliper spent about a minute in the tank before he got out of the way as Mandara turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. Yaghmai had {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and stood up from the table with his backpack on as the dealer spread the {9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} board.

Mandara finished with a full house to send Yaghmai to the rail. Kliper admitted after the hand he folded ace-king. "I figured one of you had aces, so I had to fold," he said.
