Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Valeriy Pak bet 130,000 from early position on a flop of {3-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Andress Merhed jammed from the small blind to make Pak decide for his tournament life.

Eventually, Pak folded after checking his cards as his stack dwindles further after having been the chip leader to start the day.

Valeriy Pak Eliminated in 27th Place ($5,600)

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Valeriy Pak
Valeriy Pak

Valeriy Pak jammed his stack of about ten big blinds from the button and was called Huseyin Akgul in the big blind.

Valeriy Pak: {8-Spades}{5-Spades}
Huseyin Akgul: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Akgul woke up with kings in the big blind and was very likely to take out the start-of-day chip leader with the cowboys. The flop came {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} to pair Pak's five to give him a glimmer of hope. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and the river the {6-Clubs} to confirm his elimination.

Genc Goes Deep Into the Tank

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Musa Genc raised to 115,000 from middle position before David Hu made it 300,000 on the button. Genc called and they went heads-up to the {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop.

Genc checked to Hu, who continued for 250,000. Genc called and both players checked the {k-Diamonds} turn.

The river came the {2-Diamonds} and Genc checked once more. Hu then assembled a bet of 945,000, leaving himself just 100,000 behind, and slid it into the middle.

Genc went into the tank for nearly 10 minutes, rechecking his cards multiple times before he picked them up and turned over {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Hu remained silent during the hand and calmly took in the pot.
