Aydemir Picks Off Hu's Bluff

Level 34 : Blinds 200,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

David Hu raised to 1,000,000 with {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Recep Aydemir defended his big blind with {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

The flop came {j-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Hu continued for 1,800,000 and Aydemir called with his top pair. Both players checked the {k-Clubs} turn.

The {10-Hearts} fell on the river and Aydemir checked to Hu, who used a time bank before firing out 3,200,000. Aydemir also used a time bank before he called as Hu was forced to show his failed bluff. Aydemir gave a big fist pump after seeing he had made the right call.

John Doe limped in with {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, then called when Recep Aydemir moved all in for 2,525,000 with {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

The {3-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop gave Doe both a pair and a flush draw, but he improved no further on the {k-Spades} turn or {10-Hearts} river to double his short stack.

"There's always a sweat, my friend. There's always a sweat," Paul Browne told Aydemir as he stacked his new chips.

Level 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Helmut Phung limped in with {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and John Doe checked his option with {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and Phung led out for 550,000. Doe called with his pair of queens, then improved to trips on the {q-Hearts} turn.

Phung checked this time as Doe bet 1,100,000. Phung called with straight and flush draws, but didn't connect with the {7-Diamonds} as both players checked the river.

Phung Catches Runner-Runner on Browne

Level 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Helmut Phung raised to 850,000 with {a-Hearts}{9-Spades} from the cutoff and Paul Browne defended with {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Brown hit trips on the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Spades} and both players checked. Phung picked up a straight draw on the {8-Diamonds} as Browne led out for 1,400,000. Phung used two time bank cards before calling.

The {10-Clubs} on the river completed his straight and Phung bet 2,500,000 after Browne checked. Browne threw in his last time bank card before he called, only to be shown that Phung had hit running cards to crack his flopped trips.
