Gavrilovich Doubles His Short Stack

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Gabi Livshitz raised to 6,300 from early posiiton and was called by Oleg Netaliev in middle position. Jenya Gavrilovich, in the small blind, then moved all in for around 25,000 and Livshitz went into the tank for about a minute before he folded.

Netaliev, though, quickly called with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} while Gavrilovich showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Both players hit a pair on the {2-Spades}{7-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop, but Gavrilovich's kings were in the lead.

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Gavrilovich survived.
