Panka Picks Off Held

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Dominik Panka bet around 275,000 on a board of {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} before Justus Held raised to 750,000 from early position.

Panka called in the big blind as the river came the {q-Spades}. Panka checked to Held, who fired out another 550,000.

Panka used nearly his full 30 second clock before putting in a chip to call. Held went to muck before being forced to show {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Panka turned over {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for a pair of sixes to win the pot.

Degtiariovas, Barsegian Chop Up Held

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Three players went to the turn on a board of {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} when Justus Held bet 1,100,000 from the cutoff and Eduard Barsegian called on the button.

Ernestas Degtiariovas also called in the big blind as the {4-Spades} fell on the river. Action checked to Barsegian and he bet 1,275,000. Degtiariovas called and Held quickly mucked.

Both players had a straight, Barsegian with {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Degtiariovas with {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and split the pot.

"I didn't like that turn," Degtiariovas said after seeing his flopped straight counterfeited on the turn.

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Luc Bindel

Justus Held raised to 300,000 from the button, then called when Luc Bindel shoved from the big blind.

Luc Bindel: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Justus Held: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop left open the possibility of a chop, but the board came {4-Hearts}{j-Hearts} as Held made two pair. The stacks were counted down and Held had Bindel's remaining 1,850,000 covered, sending him to the rail.

Soon after losing the all-in pot to Ara Melkisetian, Amarbayasgalan Sainjargal called all in for his last 2,100,000 from the big blind after Maciej Komorowski had shoved from early position.

Amarbayasgalan Sainjargal: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Maciej Komorowski: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Sainjargal again picked up a draw on the {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades} board, but he missed the {8-Clubs} river and hit the rail in 15th place.

The next hand after Bakhos Joumaa, Dominik Panka raised to 300,000 from the button, then snap-called when Sergei Efimov shoved for 1,500,000 in the small blind.

Sergei Efimov: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Dominik Panka: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

Efimov had the same hand as Bindel but enjoyed the same luck with it as the flop came {3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, giving Panka a pair of queens. Left looking for a one-outer, Efimov couldn't hit the miracle on the {2-Spades}{3-Spades} runout as he became the first casualty of the day.

Ara Melkisetian: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Amarbayasgalan Sainjargal: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Bakhos Joumaa: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Luc Bindel: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Joumaa was behind Bindel's jacks but jumped into the lead on the {3-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop with a pair of aces. The board ran out {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Joumaa survived.
