Bedir Hits the Rail After an Unfortunate Runout

Jakub Michalak opened in early position before the action was on Selahaddin Bedir in middle position. He took a moment and then moved all in for about 500,000. It folded all the way back to Michalak who seemed to have a tough choice but eventually flicked in a call.

It was a massive flip that Bedir would drill on the J♦K♠6♥ flop but the 8♣ turn would give Michalak the set and have Bedir drawing dead. The inconsequential J♣ river only improved Michalak to a boat and Bedir made his exit.

The flop came Q♣8♦7♥ and Nurmuhammedov check-called an 80,000 continuation bet from Sabau.

Nurmuhammedov checked again on the 3♠ turn and Sabau bet 225,000. This time Nurmuhammedov opted to fold.

Khordbin Busts Joyce with Cowboys

Toby Joyce opened to 100,000 from early position and action folded around to Hadi Khordbin in the small blind, who moved all in. It was quickly made apparent that Khordbin did not realize Joyce had opened and that he thought he only had Shuang Luo in the big blind behind him, who was short-stacked. Luo folded and Joyce called off with his stack of approximately 1,700,000, putting himself at risk.

Despite an ace being in the window Joyce was drawing very thin on the A♠K♠J♥ flop against Khordbin's middle set. He did pick up some outs on the A♦ turn but the 6♥ river was a blank and Joyce was sent to the rail while Khordbin was shipped a massive pot.

Fabian Quoss opened the button to 110,000 and got called by Nuno Correia in the big blind.

The 8♦8♠10♣ flop landed and the action checked to Quoss who continued for 75,000. Correia called and the 9♠ rolled off on the turn.

It got checked to Quoss who put out another bet of 250,000. Correia called again and the K♦ river hit the felt.

It checked over to Quoss for the final time and he put out a large bet of 470,000. Correia tanked for close to two minutes before he finally place one chip on the table to signify a call.

Quoss tabled Q♠8♣ for trips and Correia mucked.
