Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

In a preflop confrontation, Bernard Boutboul had opened to 25,000 and called a shove from Mert Tozlu who had roughly 350,000 and was covered.

Mert Tozlu: AJ
Bernard Boutboul: AK

Boutboul was ahead with the bigger ace and remained so on the 104358 runout to score to take down a nice early pot and send Tozlu to the rail.

Kirichenko Squeezes Big

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Halil Serdar Tasyurek opened in middle position to 20,000 before it folded to the small blind who flat called. The action was then on Aleksandr Kirichenko in the big blind who sat in the tank for about a minute before announcing he was all in for about 210,000.

Tasyurek went over his options but eventually returned his cards to the dealer. The small blind also gave it some thought but eventually he also mucked.

Kirichenko scooped the pot without even seeing a flop early on in the day.

Meirbekov Flips Vladimir to the Rail

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sultan Meirbekov was in the cutoff and had three-bet a previous open to 55,000. Alekseev Vladimir on the button moved all in for approximately 200,000 and Meirbekov made the call with a covering stack to put Vladimir at risk.

Alekseev Vladimir: 99
Sultan Meirbekov: AJ

Vladimir caught the better end of the 358 flop but Meirbekov took the lead with top pair on the J turn. He remained ahead on the A river to send Vladimir to the rail and take down a healthy pot.

Bortsov Doubles Through Saad

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Nils Pudel opened the cutoff to 20,000 before Sergey Bortsov moved all in from the button for about 160,000. The action was then on Eli Saad in the small blind who asked for a count of both players stacks. After doing some accounting he went into the tank and eventually announced he was all in covering both players.

Pudel got out of the way and the cards hit their backs with Bortsov all in and at risk.

Sergey Bortsov: 55
Eli Saad: AK

There was no real sweat as the dealer quickly burned and turned the 77Q96 board and Bortsov would earn the pure double by way of winning the flip against Saad.

Lots of Action on the Flop; Sidelkovskiy Then Goes Thin on the Turn

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Leonid Sidelkovskiy
Leonid Sidelkovskiy

Leonid Sidelkovskiy opened the cutoff to 22,000 before getting a call from both Vladas Burneikis in the small blind and Ming Xi in the big blind.

The 385 flop hit the felt and Burneikis quickly led out from the small blind for 25,000. Xi got out of the way and Sidelkovskiy raised to 65,000. Without thinking for more than a few seconds Burneikis clicked it back to 125,000. Sidelkovskiy held strong and put in the chips.

The J rolled off on the turn and Burneikis slowed down and checked it over to Sidelkovskiy who went into the tank for a moment before putting out a bet of 85,000. Burneikis snap called.

The Q landed on the river and finally the action slowed down and checked through.

Burneikis was first to show and tabled 84 for a flopped top pair. Sidelkovskiy tabled 99 for the better pair and scooped after withstanding the flop aggression and going thin for value on the turn.
