Zhugralin King's Hold Up For Big Double

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Damir Zhugralin
Damir Zhugralin

After Niall Farrell opened from early position to 2,500, Damir Zhugralin three-bet to 7,500 from middle position. The hijack and cutoff both called, so did Farrell when action was back on him.

When a flop of {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts} fell, Zhugralin continued for 12,000 when checked to. The hijack then raised to 25,000 and the other two players got out of the way.

Zhugralin's response? An all in for 72,000. His opponent didn't seem very happy about it.

''I'll show'', Zhugralin told his opponent, whilst smiling. The player then decided on a call to put Zhugralin at risk as cards were tabled.

Damir Zhugralin: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The Kazakhstani player that has been all over the opening events here in North Cyprus was well ahead. A {3-Clubs} turn and {9-Hearts} river were safe cards, ensuring the double up.
