Skrbic Clawing Back

Level 36 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Milos Skrbic bet 1,200,000 with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} in the small blind. Arsenii Karmatckii made the call in the big blind holding {k-Spades}{9-Spades}.

A monotone flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} did not help either player, but Skrbic made a bet of 600,000 and was called by Karmatckii.

Skrbic upped the ante and bet 4,000,000 on the {10-Spades} turn. Karmatckii folded pretty sharpish.

Chip Lead Swings Back In Favor of Karmatckii

Level 36 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Arsenii Karmatckii
Arsenii Karmatckii

Arsenii Karmatckii raised to 1,300,000 with {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Milos Skrbic called with {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The flop of {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} was checked to Karmatckii, who bet 2,000,000. Skrbic, with a flush draw, called.

A {k-Hearts} turn was checked once again from the Serb. This time Karmatckii fired 8,000,000 and Skrbic, perhaps frustratedly had to fold his holding.

Karmatckii Narrows Skrbic's Lead

Level 36 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Milos Skrbic bet 1,200,000 from the small blind with {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and was called by Arsenii Karmatckii in the big blind with {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Both players connected with the {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop with Skrbic picking up an open-ended straight draw and Karmatckii a flush draw. Skrbic bet 1,200,000 and Karmatckii made the call.

The {6-Clubs} fell on the turn and Karmatckii led for 3,500,000 which gained a fold from Skrbic. There is only three big blinds separating the players with Skrbic enjoying a slight lead.

Skrbic Runs Huge Bluff On First Hand Of Heads-Up Play

Level 36 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Milos Skrbic
Milos Skrbic

With action on Milos Skrbic, he made it 1,200,000 with {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Arsenii Karmatckii called with {k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Skrbic bet 600,000 in flow after the check from Karmatckii, who then made the call.

To a turn of {3-Spades} and Karmatckii checked once more. The Serbian player fired 4,000,000 but Karmatckii was going no where and he made the call to set up a river.

A {j-Clubs} river was a brick for Skrbic, as he missed he straight draw, flush draw and didn't pair his ace. It didn't stop him though, after the Russian player checked, Skrbic played a time extension card, thinking for a minute before announced he was all in for 19,625,000 chips.

With action back on Karmatckii, if he called the tournament would be over and he would be the winner. He did not, though. Karmatckii mucked his pair of kings and awarded the pot to Skrbic.

Aleksandr Pak Eliminated in 3rd Place ($125,640)

Level 36 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Aleksandr Pak
Aleksandr Pak

Aleksandr Pak moved all in from the button for 3,625,000 and was called without hesitation by Milos Skrbic in the big blind.

Aleksandr Pak: {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Milos Skrbic: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Pak needed help on the flop which they got in abundance with the flop of {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to give them bottom pair and a flush draw.

However, the {a-Spades} fell on the turn to give Skrbic the lead. Pak required any six, five, or diamond on the river, but the {4-Hearts} completed the board to send Pak to the exit for their first ever six-figure payday.

While Skrbic was dragging in the pot they quipped "I have to stop drinking if I win this tournament! This is the first time ever I have been playing sober!"
