Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Shawn Motameni was all in and at risk for his last 4,300 from the cutoff against the under-the-gun player, the next player to act and both blinds.

There was no side pot and the flop of {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} brought a 5,500 continuation bet of sorts from the under-the-gun player, who had originally min-raised preflop but couldn't re-raise after Motameni's 4,300 all in. The next player to act in early position called the 5,500 bet and the small blind folded.

With action on the big blind he chose to raise to 25,000 chips. This aggression folded out both the other players to put cards on their backs.

Somehow Montameni was ahead against the gutshot of the big blind and managed to hold on the {k-Hearts} turn and {6-Spades} river.

''I don't believe it!'', exclaimed Montameni, as he turned his 4,300 into about half a starting stack. The big blind did take a small side pot of 11,000 for his troubles, too.
