Dashti Wades Way Through Controversial Hand

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The flop read {7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Spades} with three players in a hand. There was debate ongoing as the dealer had exposed the {8-Spades} as the turn prematurely and therefore it had to be taken away. One of the three players folded to make the pot heads-up.

Ghanim Dashti argued this ruling and called the floor as he made it clear that it was a dealer error through several explanations to the floor.

But regardless the rule was to take away the {8-Spades} and bring the new turn which was the {k-Clubs}. Both players checked. The {8-Spades} was shuffled back into the remaining cards, and the river came the {q-Hearts}.

Dashti called a 17,000 bet from his opponent and tabled the {q-Spades}{3-Spades} for the winner as his opponent said he only had ace high and Dashti won the hand despite all the protestations.
