Schemion Doubles Through Durnegger

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The board read {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} and the all-in button was in front of Markus Durnegger on the button. Ole Schemion took some time and then made the call from the early position for the 65,100 he had in front of him. Durnegger tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for the flopped top pair but Schemion held {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for the overpair.

The river completed the board with the {5-Clubs} to keep Schemion ahead and double him up. Durnegger was left with 20,000 which he lost to Omar Eljach shortly after.
