Wesselink Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Wim Anne Wesselink told us about a series of hands that lead to his demise.

Wesselink had a 150,000-stack just 30 minutes or so ago when he lost a flip for 20 big blinds with {4-}{4-} against {K-}{Q-}. After some other small pots, he was down to 95,000.

He opened the hijack for 4,400 holding {Q-}{Q-}. The big blind made it a massive 27,000 to go. Wesselink wasn't too happy about it but shoved anyway. His opponent called with {K-}{K-} and Wesselink did not catch up.

After that hand, he was down to 14,000 but doubled soon after. In the end, though, it wasn't enough as he ran his last 12 big blinds with {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} into a loose player with {A-}{J-}. Wesselink eliminated.
