The 2024 Marrakech Poker Open Main Event Starts at 2 P.M.
After spending the summer in the heat of Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker, players who enjoy playing in sunny locations are more than welcome at the Es Saadi Resort for another edition of the Marrakech Poker Open.
While a heatwave hits the beautiful Jemaa el-Fna square, action at the poker table started on Monday, July 29, with the first flights of the 6,000 MAD Spanish Poker Festival Main Event, which is still underway. The streamed final table will start today at 5 p.m., as nine players remain out of a field of 260 entrants. The winner of the tournament will take home 300,000 MAD (approximately €27,900).
With this amount, the winner will also have the possibility to play the 10,000 MAD MPO Main Event, which starts today with Day 1a. Last year, French player Adrien Sanz won the 2023 edition, taking down the first-place prize of 770,000 MAD (€72,200).
