Cramer Goes From Life Support To A Workable Stack

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Alan Cramer
Alan Cramer

Alan Cramer was down to a single big blind. He thought another player had him covered and he was ready to walk away when the dealer tossed him two blue chips worth 25,000 each. After putting in some work, we found Cramer with around 200,000 and all in from the cut-off position. Joseph Turnbull made the call from the button and it was heads up with no more action to come.

Cramer: {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Turnbull: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The Flop of {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} didn't make Turnbull sweat but the {7-Spades} turn sure did. Not only could Cramer double with a pair of fives, any six would give Cramer a straight and the win. The entire table reacted in shock when the {6-Spades} arrived on the river. Andrew Dartez said, "Wow. Wow. Wow. From 50,000 to 640,000. Crazy."

Crazy indeed.
