Min Zhang Finishes as the Main Event Day 1a Chip Leader
Day 1a of the Lonestar Poker Series $580 Main Event was a huge success! Nearly 70% of the guarantee was met in the first flight and some memorable faces made Day 2 with big stacks.
Lisa Fleishman, the winner of the Kickoff Event last week, bagged 733,000 and only one player had more chips than she did. Min Zhang, the $400 NLH Deepstack champ, had just 1,000 more than to take the chip leader spot for Day 1a. These two ladies will get today to rest before coming back Sunday in a great position to run deep.
