Stern Chipping Up
PokerStars qualifier Max Stern has just picked up the last two hands at his table and improved to over 70,000 in chips. Here's how that happened.

On the next hand, a player in late-middle position opened with a raise to 4,200. Stern was in the small blind and play folded to him. He took a moment and then reraised to 9,800. After the big blind folded, the original raiser thought for a minute or so, but he too gave it up and Stern won the pot.
