Big chip swing

Cabrera raised from the button to 170,000 and was three-bet by Barbero from the big blind to 400,000. Cabrera flat called. Barbero fired 420,000 at the {5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop and Cabrera quickly moved all-in over the top for 1.3m. Barbero passed and the crowd went wild (again).

It's a huge chip swing for Cabrera.

Cards are back in the air

Three players are left battling it out for the $250,000 first place prize. Barbero is looking to cement his place in LAPT history as the first player to win two titles (back to back).

Ismael Cádiz eliminated in 4th place ($65,100)

Ismael Cádiz was into shoving mode after losing that last pot and that's exactly what he did from the button. The amount was 490,000 and after a count Jose Barbero made the call from the BB. Showdown:

Cádiz: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Barbero: {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The board ran {q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

Cádiz failed to improve and he exited the stage to generous applause. Three handed play will begin now.

Cabrera flush with chips

Erick Cabrera more than doubled up through neighbor Ismael Cádiz to rapturous cheers from the enthusiastic Peruvian crowd. He opened from UTG to 160,000 and was called by Cádiz on the button and Jose Barbero in the big blind.

On the {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop Barbero moved out of the way as Cabera and Cádiz got all their chips in the middle. Cádiz opened {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} for top two-pair and Cabrera revelaed {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}for top pair and flush draw.

The crowd were going mental for a heart but it failed to come on the {k-Diamonds} turn. Their calls were answered though as the river came {7-Hearts}. The two swap places as the short stack now.

The most mental chop you'll ever see

This is like a World Cup match at the moment. My ears are actually ringing from the cheering and shouting. Jose Barbero raised to 120,000 from the button and was shoved on for 740,000 by Cabrera. Barbero called.

Barbero: {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Cabrera: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

There are at least fifty Peruvians chanting and they're making a lot of noise. PERU! PERU! PERU! PERU!

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{10-Spades} and the crowd were chanting for a blank but their will alone wasn't enough. A {7-Hearts} binked on the river to split the pot.

I want to be a Nacho man

Jose 'Nacho' Barbero's comeback is gathering pace while Erick Cabrera's huge stack is dwindling. Nacho raised from the small blind and was called by Cabrera in the big. They checked through to the {j-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts} turn where Nacho led for 120,000 and was called by Cabrera. Nacho bet another 240,000 on the {6-Spades} river and was called by Cabrera. Nacho showed {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Cabrera {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Barbero has taken some large chunks out of Cabrera.
