Guillen Putting the WSOP Main Event Behind Him
Angel Guillen is surely looking to put his WSOP Main Event behind him. If you remember our coverage of the Main Event a couple weeks ago, Guillen finished in the worst possible spot, 749th place. Although Guillen wasn't the official bubble boy, he fell short of the money by two spots, meaning he wouldn't even receive the $10,000 seat to next year's Main Event like the official bubble boy does every year. You can read about Guillen's bust out here.
Here at LAPT Florianopolis, Guillen is doing more than enough to make sure he can turn his luck around. He's been on fire here in the early goings and sits atop the leaderboard with about 100,000 chips. No one looks even the slightest bit close to him as we gander around the room, but of course that could change quickly as the day goes on.
