Bubble Status: Burst!
Daniela de Lima Zapiello opened her second-consecutive pot with a raise to 10,000. The man next to her called, and Pedro Komaromi came along from the button.
Three handed, the flop came out , and all three players checked. When the hit the turn, Zappielo led out with a delayed continuation bet of 15,000. The monkey in the middle called, but Komaromi wanted to play for more. Without much hesitation, he stuck in a raise to 50,000 straight. Zappielo made the smooth call while the third player folded out of their way.
The filled out the board on fifth street. Komaromi only had about 25,000 left in front of him, and Zappielo went ahead and bet enough to put him to the test. The call came instantly, Komaromi slamming down his for the full house.
But it was no good.
Quiet as a mouse, Zappielo flipped up . Aces full beat tens full every day, and Komaromi could hardly believe his eyes. A number of his fellow Uruguayans came to console their countryman, but the now-eliminated Komaromi could only stand at the table and shake his head.
With that, Pedro has become the unfortunate bubble boy, and he had to deal with the added pain of watching the rest of the room break into a standing celebration of his exit. Everyone who still has chips is now guaranteed a payday when they leave.
