Kovalevskiy Ousts Suominen

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Serafim Kovalevskiy open-jammed from the small blind with {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Antti Suominen called off his short stack of under five big blinds from the big blind with {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Suominen flopped a pair after the {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} came on the board. He was still ahead after the {2-Spades} came on the turn.

However, the {10-Hearts} spiked the river to give Kovalevskiy a flush and Souminen was eliminated. Also recently hitting the showers were Robert Jones, Arturs Kurnajevs, and Henri Juutilainen.

Kunnapuu Runs Into Cowboys

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Leo Pietila opened for 16,000 from the button. Madis Ormisson called from the small blind before Alari Kunnapuu jammed for around 150,000 from the big blind.

Pietila called and Ormisson folded.

Leo Pietila: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Alari Kunnapuu: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The table perked up after the {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{q-Hearts} came on the flop to give Kunnapuu an open-ended straight draw.

The fun ended there for Kunnapuu as the {7-Clubs} came on the turn followed by the {a-Clubs} on the river to give Pietila the nut-flush.

Also eliminated were Gytis Bernatavicius, Andreas Hoivold, and Team OlyBet pro Raigo Aasmaa.

Heeringas Didn't Make it Rain; Bubbles Main Event

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Rain Heeringas
Rain Heeringas

Samuel Saariaho opened for 15,000 from early position. It folded around to Rain Heeringas, who was down to one big blind before the hand and was automatically all-in.

A crowd gathered and players turned over their cards.

Samuel Saariaho: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Rain Heeringas: {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Saariaho was ahead and remained in the lead after the {4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} came on the flop. The {7-Hearts} appeared on the turn to open up a flush draw and a gutshot straight draw for Heeringas in addition to both his hole cards also being live.

None of these outs came as the {8-Spades} completed the board on the river and Heeringas bubbled the Main Event.

The remaining 80 players are each guaranteed a payout of at least €2,100.

Piotrowski Makes a Big Call on the Bubble

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jari Lahtinen open-jammed more than the 271,000 his opponent Przemyslaw Piotrowski had left in his stack.

Piotrowski went into the tank for about six minutes before he made the call.

Lahtinen tried to muck his hand but since it was an all-in and a call, the dealer turned over {j-Hearts}{5-Spades} for Lahtinen. Piotrowski had third nuts with {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.
