Francis Dervan had defended his big blind versus Barry McMahon's open, and check-called a bet of 65,000 from his opponent on the A♠8♦K♦ flop.

On the 6♥ turn Dervan check-called a bet of 130,000 from McMahon.

On the 5♦ river, Dervan moved all in for 350,000 and earnt a quick fold from McMahon.

Douglas Culligan defended his big blind versus a raise of 175,000 from Cathal Shine in the small blind.

Shine continued with a bet of 120,000 on the 6♠3♦3♥ flop. Culligan quickly called.

On the 10♦ turn Shine fired out a bet of 350,000 and again Culligan got his calling chips in speedily.

The 8♣ river completed the board and Shine produced the river jam for 805,000. Culligan, who covered Shine, thought about the spot for roughly 90 seconds before mucking his hand.
