Cazacu Relieved With Ladies

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Mengshi Tian opened the action from middle position with a raise to 5,000. Michel Molenaar called in the hijack before Adrian Cazacu three-bet to 22,000 in the cutoff.

John Duthie called cold in the big blind, folding out Tian. Molenaar put in a call as well, however, and the trio saw a flop of KJ2. It checked to Cazacu, who continued for 25,000.

Both Duthie and Molenaar made quick folds, after which Cazacu let out a sigh of relief as he tabled QQ.

Tian, meanwhile, claimed to have folded king-jack preflop. "You don't fold when you run like this," Cazacu advised the chipleader of the tournament.

Glazer Makes Nguyen Run Out of Time

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Christopher Nguyen and Jordan Glazer were heads-up on a turn of QQ95. With the pot amounting to 40,000, Nguyen fired a bet of 35,000 from under the gun.

Glazer called to the 4 river, where he saw his opponent check to him. Glazer then wagered about half his stack, around 65,000, which sent Nguyen into the tank.

Nguyen spent all of his time banks thinking the situation over. Eventually, he folded before his final shot clock ran out, granting the pot to Glazer.

Ju needed to fill up to stay alive, but the 6 river brought him no relief, seeing him book his second exit of the day.

Simulteanously, Severi Palmu was also eliminated after having bought in a second time.

Helppi Three-Bets Preflop and Flop

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Christopher Nguyen opened to 4,200 under the gun. It folded to Juha Helppi in the big blind, who upped the ante to 18,500. Nguyen stuck in a call, after which he was faced with a bet of 13,000 on the 86Q flop.

He raised to 35,000, which Helppi clicked back to 60,000. Nguyen called, and did so too when Helppi put in 23,200 on the 8 turn.

The 4 river saw Helppi shove all in for 36,500, but he was met with a quick fold from Nguyen, who gave up the big pot.

Wilson Wins Blind-on-Blind

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Simon Wilson raised his small blind to 6,000, seeing Roope Tarmi defend his big blind.

Tarmi called Wilson's bet of 4,500 on the K72 turn before the Irishman sized up to 18,800 on the J turn.

Another call followed from Tarmi, after which the J river was checked down. Wilson tabled K6 for kings and jacks and was awarded the pot when Tarmi added his cards to the muck.
